Be Helpful and Relevant
This community is intended to provide helpful and relevant content.
- This forum is categorized by topic. Please post your questions or messages in the appropriate forum. Moderators might move your post to another category at their discretion.
- Questions you may have might already have been answered. Please search the forum before posting. Duplicate posts will be marked as such and locked.
- Keep all your posts as constructive as possible. Explain why you disagree or agree with something. Your reasoning is as important as your opinion.
- Please do not post spam. The definition of spam is an irrelevant or advertising post. Any post considered spam will be removed.
Respect Others
Treat other members with the respect they deserve. This should go without saying, but treat others like you would like to be treated!
- No subtle put-downs or unfriendly language. Even if you don’t intend it, this can have a negative impact on others.
- No name-calling or personal attacks. Focus on the content, not the person. This includes terms that feel personal even when they’re applied to content (e.g. “lazy”).
- No bigotry. We don’t tolerate any language likely to offend or alienate people based on race, gender, sexual orientation, or religion — and those are just a few examples. When in doubt, don’t use language that might offend or alienate.
- No harassment. This includes, but isn’t limited to bullying, intimidation, vulgar language, direct or indirect threats, sexually suggestive remarks, patterns of inappropriate social contact, and sustained disruptions of discussion.
- No Impersonation. Impersonation means trying to be someone else. This isn’t allowed on this forum and you will be banned without prior notice.
No Illegal Activity
- The posting of any copyrighted material on this forum is strictly prohibited.
- No hacking, and illegal activity, such as torrents and illegal downloads. This will not be tolerated, and if appropriate, may be reported to the local authority.
- No subject matter will be allowed whose purpose is to defeat existing copyright or security measures. If a user persists and/or the activity is obviously illegal moderators reserve the right to remove such content and/or ban the user. This would also mean encouraging the use or continued use of pirated software is not permitted, and subject to the same consequences.
Reporting
Every person contributes to building a kind, respectful community. If you find unacceptable behavior directed at yourself or others, please flag it and report it to a moderator.
Moderator’s Discretion
Moderators may evaluate any content posted to the forum and act on it at their own discretion even if it doesn’t fall under the guidelines listed above.
